Got up to Ethan's house. Chilled. Decorated the car. Went over to usu. 1 mile warm up with Adam Wood. At the start they hyped us up a ton and so everyone had a bunch of adrenaline. It wasn't a great combo cuz it was uphill for the first two miles so pretty much everyone went out hard and then died a lil. I was pretty tired but I think I held on pretty well.

It was uphill on road then to trail and then steep downhill on the trail and flattened out on the road. I was in 5th place just a little behind the Collin Dinning Project. Then at the end of the downhill I passed him and ended up gapping him by about 20-30 seconds maybe. My average pace ended up 6:02. I wanted it to be sub 6 but I was slow in the middle from the uphill. Splits were 6:07,6:53,5:49,5:34,5:52,6:06,5:30 pace for the last half mile. Passed off in 4th place. It was Reebok, BYU, Jaybird but after leg 6 it was Jaybird BYU Reebok. 1 mile cooldown. We are chilling at Addys house. My next leg is 8.6 or something like that. It's gonna go down around 11pm. So hyped.

So I started my leg at 11:11🌟💫. Sorry to Cam cuz he had to wait for me to show up so we lost a mile. I started at Snowbasin resort and climbed on a trail for one mile. It was 7:22. Then it was downhill for 7.6. My splits were 5:35,5:20,5:32,5:36,5:21,5:26,5:26,5:25 pace for the .6. It was so lonely. We started catching up to teams that started at 11:30. I got two kills. And saw the occasional car. Temps were so nice. Passed of the Ethan. After our legs we went to NS and I got 2 and a half hours of sleep.
