Train insane or remain the same

Ran with my man Ryan today. We started at the “World Class High School” of Lone Peak and ran towards the Canyon. When we got to the mouth we turned right and headed uphill. We went out for a lil bit on the dirt path that eventually connects with BST. While coming back we went a different way and got a little turned around but eventually made our way back. 

Afterwards we went and visited the legend Zack Ericksen! Hopefully we can go running and ball together soon. 

Beus to Pipe. Ran out too far cuz Zach and I were distracted by our discussion of NBA free agency. 

Today was my day off so I biked and then went and played soccer which is a lot of running so not completely a day off, my body hurts even more than if I had done a long run lol 

Had the honor of running with the one and only Garek B today. We did an 8 mile loop on Wasatch. Weather was amazing and we had a great time. For breakfast we went to Corner Bakery :)

Chill run on Pipe

AM: Upper. I was reminded of how much I don't like it. Strides. 7.6 with lifting after. I threw up towards the end lol   

PM: Warm up and gate analysis 

Great run with Thomas and Papa Heaps. I wanted to get some hills in so we ran up the dip, the other side of killers, the hill up to Sami’s house, and then airport. Even saw Ryan and ran with him for a bit! 

Ran with Thom on Potato Hill in Corner Canyon. It’s beautiful area with tons of nice trails. We came back and thought that Clark’s trail would get us back to our car. It didn’t really, well it would have if we hadn’t ran out of mileage. It was some great climbing tho, definitely want to come back and do it again. 

Ran with Thomas, Zack, Maddie, and Jacob on Murdock. First time on there in a long time, it was great as always. Maddie went hard from the gun and had the rest of us working hard lol it was a great time with friends as well as a strong effort. 

First time running with the guys in a fat minute. We met at Rainbow Gardens and ran on the Parkway. Out 4 and then flipped with Colter. Had a good time talking with him.

Reverse Upper 

Early morning run starting from Willowcreek before going horseback riding. 

Murdock Canal. 2 with the twins, 2 more with Riley and Parker, 6.5 more by myself. Always a good time seeing the guys. 

North Lehi with Thomas. 

Started at Lehi HS and did South Lehi with Thom, ran by my old stomping grounds. Good times 

Night run on the soccer field. Started at 9 and the temp wasn't too bad. Got a nice view of some fireworks. Strides. 

Met at 21st street pond, a nice place to do tempos and power runs. Warmed up over to Fort Buenaventura and started the Power run from there. I've only done strides up to this point so I went not as far and not as fast as the other guys but something is still more than nothing. 4.14 at 5:49 avg. Felt nice and smooth, it's a good starting point. Next week on Tuesday we'll be doing 2x2 miles at Beus and going a little faster. Two mile cooldown with Colter.  

Reverse Upper 

Long run on Murdock Canal. Legs were a little tired after the tempo-reverse upper combo. I was graced by my dads presence on the bike for the first six miles, before a tire went flat and I had to go pick him up in the car.
