AM: Shakeout run

PM: USU Invite. Best race this season by far. I put myself in a much better position to compete with others compared to the other races. Well I put myself in good position at BYU it was just too good of position and I died... But felt great. Going down the bottom half of the figure 8 the second time an Isaacs army guy passed me but I went with him and after a little while realized that I could even go faster, passed him, and found a second wind. Proud of the mental toughness that I had to go with him. Had a very strong last uphill. From running the course so many times I knew that you could get closer to redlining earlier in the race due to the downhill finish. Gained quite a bit of ground on the uphill. I caught and passed Conner when he had a sizeable gap on me at the start of the lap. Kept on pushing, passing more people. After the little grass u-turn loop section thing I came up on Zach and told him to come with me and started really moving. Finished strong and was suprised to see the clock show 21:48 a 32 second improvement from last year! I finally was able to really push myself mentally which allowed me to push myself physically and have a great race. Landon and Jared were both there so that was pretty sweet to have them be able to watch. We went to Even Steven's after the race. Always a 10/10!
