Drove down to St Geezy. Staying in Reeves' condo which is super nice. Gonna try and fit some running in. We are planning on doing some sick hikes.

Set out about 11. Weather was bright and sunny with a slight breeze which was nice. I had my window open during the night and I remember it starting to pour so I closed it, Preston said there was some really loud thunder. I tried to find some trails and almost immediately found this path but it was less than a half mile long. But I kept going on it jus the opposite way and it started to remind me of the mct how it had a bunch of underpasses. After a little while it opened up into the desert and a really nice trail. The red sand was soft and the trail was nice and wide and not a lot of rocks. It was mostly uphill for the time that I ran out. Turned around at a little summit and my watch was at 3.25.

Coming back I saw a guy running and asked him what the trail was called so I could put where I ran on the blog. He said we were on grapevine and it went out 3 more miles or something and then you could get on prospector which went 15 miles longer. And he said that he was heading to run on the Dino cliffs and those looked way sick. Came back and I couldn't find where I had hopped on the trail. There were some different turns offs but none of them were where I got on. But the way I found it was weird. So I just took the one that looked like the main way and ran down. Got onto a road and shortly away was I-15 and I could find my way to the condo from there thankfully. Finished with 6.5. We were gonna go somewhere after I got back and they wanted to leave in an hour so I was coming back fast trying not to hold them up so my last full mile was 6:16 and then 5:35 pace for the last .67 but I said .5 cuz I walked a little while I was trying to find which way it was. When I got back it was 84 degrees, not 105 so #blessed

Went to PVXC practice. It was 40 minutes I believe. Half on the roads and half on the softball fields. Then 8 striders to finish off. It was just a nice chill day. After we had kids club so I hung around and played games.

Hiked Angels Landing and it was super sick. Really glad I didn't die. Reeves and I ran up Willies wiggles or whatever they are called. My legs are so tired. Jumped in the river at the bottom which was amazing. Went and played basketball with Hell Raiser. It was fun, some of the guys were tools.

Sorry to the PV guys for having to deal with me two days in a row. Ran over to the elementary to get more miles in. It was 2.6 7:15ap. Then my watch was pretty much dead. For practice we ran on lower grapevine. I'm jealous they get to run on these sick trails. It was flat for a while but then had a long gradual climb. 7.3ish miles. Got back and hung for a little bit. Said my goodbyes. I may or may not have shed a tear. Ran back to the condo to get to 12.5 for the day. Leaving St George today :'( this has been an awesome trip.

Got up to Ethan's house. Chilled. Decorated the car. Went over to usu. 1 mile warm up with Adam Wood. At the start they hyped us up a ton and so everyone had a bunch of adrenaline. It wasn't a great combo cuz it was uphill for the first two miles so pretty much everyone went out hard and then died a lil. I was pretty tired but I think I held on pretty well.

It was uphill on road then to trail and then steep downhill on the trail and flattened out on the road. I was in 5th place just a little behind the Collin Dinning Project. Then at the end of the downhill I passed him and ended up gapping him by about 20-30 seconds maybe. My average pace ended up 6:02. I wanted it to be sub 6 but I was slow in the middle from the uphill. Splits were 6:07,6:53,5:49,5:34,5:52,6:06,5:30 pace for the last half mile. Passed off in 4th place. It was Reebok, BYU, Jaybird but after leg 6 it was Jaybird BYU Reebok. 1 mile cooldown. We are chilling at Addys house. My next leg is 8.6 or something like that. It's gonna go down around 11pm. So hyped.

So I started my leg at 11:11🌟💫. Sorry to Cam cuz he had to wait for me to show up so we lost a mile. I started at Snowbasin resort and climbed on a trail for one mile. It was 7:22. Then it was downhill for 7.6. My splits were 5:35,5:20,5:32,5:36,5:21,5:26,5:26,5:25 pace for the .6. It was so lonely. We started catching up to teams that started at 11:30. I got two kills. And saw the occasional car. Temps were so nice. Passed of the Ethan. After our legs we went to NS and I got 2 and a half hours of sleep.

Woke up and was running a couple minutes later which was really fun. Started about 5am. It was pretty chilly but I just ran in a shirt. No warm up. First mile was a 6:24,5:58,5:47,and 5:40 pace for the last .86. It was supposed to be 4 but I got it a little short. 5:59ap. I was counting my kills. I got about 10 every mile, and then the last mile was twice as packed and I finished with 51 kills. And just like that my legs were over. Finished our legs. We were catching up to the Lehi team so saw them, the other HJP Van. Went to Soldier Hollow and chilled. We finished 5th overall, the first team not with college kids and adults. BYU lost an hour with wrong turns and still beat us. We broke 21 and got 20:58.31. Good stuff from all the guys. It was a really fun time and I definitely want to do a Ragnar again, and an Ultra sometime. But my legs are wrecked so not for a while. Hung around after and got some hats, a massage, pizza, it was a real good time.

Ran 3 miles with Zack towards the creek and then a barefoot mile. Ice bath after but my legs are still wrecked.
