Got up to Davis and it was a lil chilly but it got nice and never was that bad. I ran the mile first. 1.75 warm up and strides. I thought it was gonna be Garek, Talon, Colter and I but Garek and Colter scratched so it was just me and #talonhull pace. I tried to stay on him as long as I could. I managed 2 and a half-3/4 is laps till he got a nice gap on me and I just held on and kicked it in decently hard for 2nd. 4:25 was the time, I was hoping for better but it's the first mile race of the season. I know I'm gonna run great times #2blessed2bestressed

2 mile cool down and then I elevated my legs for 13 minutes and chilled. Was gonna do the open 8 but Asa's 4x8 team needed a spot, which is always a good time and I was gonna get more recovery because it was after the 2 mile in which Ryan and Thomas both ran awesome, so I switched to that. I ran the lead off leg and sat in third the first lap. Adam Wood from Herriman went into the lead and I went with him. Last hundred pulled up beside him and tried to pass, he responded and we passed off the baton side by side pretty much. I handed the baton off at about 2 minutes Jamie said, and crossed at about 2:02. She thinks if it was just an open, run thru the finish it would have been 2:01 to 2:01.5 so a respectable time. We ended up getting 4th place. Shout out to Collin for running around a 56 first lap lol. 1.5 cool down backwards around the track with Asa and Jake, then another 1.5 backwards with Papa Heaps cuz they gave me a ride home so I could finish my mileage. After went to pizza pie and it was a grand time.

Huge Happy Birthday shout out to Megan!

Shout out to Reeves for getting this girls number that worked there. Her face was nice to look at.
