AM: 3 miles on Redwood then left for the meet. About time to retire the GT-2000's.

PM: 1.5 mile warm up. Felt like my legs were tired from the car ride. After we settled I was in 7th and looking back I think I should have went out more in the back. We were a fast first mile and then after that I just didnt have that much gas in the tank, at least i thought. I didn't move up at all, little packs just formed and would move up and I couldn't go with them. Last couple laps the announcer and crowd was going hard for Garek who kicked trash and set the meet record, so I just kinda watched tv coming into my last lap smh. When I finished I didn't know what my time was cuz my watch got screwed up at the start. Did 2.5 mile cooldown with the guys and never went to look. Official time came out as 9:29.62 which was a huge suprise to me to be completely honest. I thought for sure it was slower than prelims. Everybody else just ran so fast. After seeing that I didnt think it was as bad as I did at first. Overall a very good meet. Only 2 seconds off my pr. Shout out to all my other Hobby Joggers that did well #hobbyjoggertakeover Now about a month break til outdoor.

Love hearing about your races. It's a joy. Good result, you're in fine form still running a good race when you're not firing on all mental/physical cylinders.
