Set out about 11. Weather was bright and sunny with a slight breeze which was nice. I had my window open during the night and I remember it starting to pour so I closed it, Preston said there was some really loud thunder. I tried to find some trails and almost immediately found this path but it was less than a half mile long. But I kept going on it jus the opposite way and it started to remind me of the mct how it had a bunch of underpasses. After a little while it opened up into the desert and a really nice trail. The red sand was soft and the trail was nice and wide and not a lot of rocks. It was mostly uphill for the time that I ran out. Turned around at a little summit and my watch was at 3.25.

Coming back I saw a guy running and asked him what the trail was called so I could put where I ran on the blog. He said we were on grapevine and it went out 3 more miles or something and then you could get on prospector which went 15 miles longer. And he said that he was heading to run on the Dino cliffs and those looked way sick. Came back and I couldn't find where I had hopped on the trail. There were some different turns offs but none of them were where I got on. But the way I found it was weird. So I just took the one that looked like the main way and ran down. Got onto a road and shortly away was I-15 and I could find my way to the condo from there thankfully. Finished with 6.5. We were gonna go somewhere after I got back and they wanted to leave in an hour so I was coming back fast trying not to hold them up so my last full mile was 6:16 and then 5:35 pace for the last .67 but I said .5 cuz I walked a little while I was trying to find which way it was. When I got back it was 84 degrees, not 105 so #blessed
