2 mile warm up and then a speed workout. 5x400's at goal mile pace (65-66) then walk/jog 100 meters (we just went and all out 100 meters. I did it with Thom while sean and ryan did the 6x800 workout i did earlier in the week. It was slightly difficult jumping right into that fast pace so first one was 67. Then the next one I was leading it and thom wouldn't get off my back even tho I knew we were going way too fast, ended up being a 63. I kinda pulled a cristian soratos. The rest were 65, 65, 63. A mix of feeling a little tired and the pace being as fast as it has been all year made the workout tough. The sprint opened up the stride and felt really good.

Shout out to Matthew Maton for running 3:59.38 in the mile at the oregon twilight meet or something. It is the 3rd fastest prep time ever and only the sixth time ever someone has broken 4 in high school! I bet that grant fisher will also break 4 and it will be the first year ever that multiple guys do it. Maybe even austin tamagno, john dressel, and my boy conner mantz do it too! What if 5 guys did it, dang that would be insane.

Shout out to Paul Ryan cuz he's got range for days. Go check out his blog.

6 DAYS TILL STATE!!!

Shout out to Sarah cuz it was her birthday yesterday!
