Day 2 of state. I got a little warm up in. My legs felt better and the race was better than yesterday. I was 5 seconds off my pr at altitude so not the best race. I just wasn't in it mentally. Something has just been off since BYU. I spent a lot of time and energy trying to get to state in the mile and 2 mile and so after I got it, I just didn't have the same want or drive. After I ran 4.5 with Garek, Bill, and Sarah and it was quite a nice time. Then I just hung and watched races the rest of the day. Shout out to Brinn, Ryan, Ginger, Amber, Dylan, and boys 4x4 for some awesome performances. From other teams Nashby, Cheiner, Emily Ellis, Haden Penrod, Peyton, Bo, really the whole 4A boys 800 was sick. Conner Mantz had the dopest kick I've ever seen! It was so sick to watch. Conner if you read this just know I was flipping out and crying and cheering and going nuts because you're so cool.

Shout out to all my friends from the blog because we all killed it this year! #fastrunningblogordie!

Ok time for a end of season review! Junior Track season: I didn't finish it off the way I wanted but it was still an incredible season to say the least. In the 2 mile I cut off 33 seconds if you count my Arcadia time. And in the mile I cut off 17 seconds (and I cut off 16 the year before) so I was able to improve a lot, and without the best coach in the business Coach Jamie, my supportive parents, my team mates that push me everyday, and the man upstairs, I would not have been able to so thank you so much! I got my goals of state which is the best feeling ever. I am so excited for cross country again and senior year and all the great things to come.
