Didn't feel that great today. My knees were hurting and I had a side ache for a little while, I stopped a lot. I ran on the Murdock canal trail and went out too far. Coming back about a half mile from the high school I saw my boy @justusfitz and he drove me the rest of the way. Average pace 7:01 mile

Ran a mile and a half warm up. Then did a .12 mile tempo run at world record mile pace. (Racing a 200) Then went and benched with @sirmatthewtodd. He's so buff its a workout just racking his weights. I think i'm getting stronger, stay tuned, i'll post the results from our next max out monday (Previous best 105) Then we went and finished our miles at 7:29 pace. And shout out to my boy Adam Jensen from Lone Peak because he put me in his favorite blogs. And also shout out to my girl Lucy Biles from Herriman because i'm going to beat her 800 pr this saturday :)

Mile warm up then speed workout. 400, 600, 200 at goal indoor mile pace. I said this was 4:40. Thirty seconds rest in between 4 and 6 and one minute between 6 and 2. Do that twice with a half mile jog between sets as recovery. My first set was good. 69 400. The first lap of my 600 was slow in 75, I didn't get a total time on the 600's. The 200 was fine, I didn't get a time for it either. The second set was awesome though. I got 67 on the 400. My first lap in the 600 was 70, and we kept that pace for the rest of the way. Then we raced the 200. The main part of this workout was to hit the 600 right on, to help on the middle laps of the mile. We were slow the first set, but on the second when we were even more tired we hit it rigt on! I felt really good for the workout, I wore my spikes for the second set. After we had about 6 more miles and once I started this my knee and my hamstring were hurting so I went really slow.

Shout out to my boy Garek from East, he put me in his favorite blogs and he is going to kill it at byu this weekend

Did a nice 10 mile run today with Team Pre. We ran to the Timpanogos temple and back, average pace around 6:50. I felt really good today, normally the pace falls off towards the end of the longer runs but today on the way back I had 6:38, 6:43, 6:49, 6:42 even after the speed workout yesterday. I'm running the mile and 800 at the byu indoor meet this saturday so that will be fun. OH and I went to spike night at #runnerscorner and got some sweet new balance spikes, the MLD5000D's so excited!

Shout out to my boy Bo Farrer from Timpanogos because it was his birthday yesterday.

I wore my spikes a little, they felt good. My legs felt ok too. Shout out to the Lehi boys basketball team 🏀 they beat herriman tonight! Maybe next time herriman ;)

Today I ran the mile and the 800 at the byu indoor invitational. I didn't get a chance to warm up for the mile because I got there late, so I did the best I could to stay loose and just told myself to go out and do the best I could. I lead the first lap, and that was a really weird feeling because till sophomore year a big struggle for me was getting a good start. But after the first lap the faster guys took the reins and I fell all the way back to like 7th lol. I settled down into a good pace and the race went by surprisingly fast. The last 200 I had a good kick and passed three guys. I came across in 4:44 which is funny because that is the exact time I signed up with. Before I ran I thought I should have put in a slower time, but I ended up getting it and I'm way happy because its only 4 seconds off a pr and indoor just started.

After a few hours of recovery I did the 800. My legs felt like jello so I was not sure how this was gonna go. I was seeded last and I was tired so I just stuck at the back of the pack the majority of the race and kicked hard at the end. I got 2:10, which is awesome because I haven't been training long, I had already run the mile, and I ran 10 miles the day before so I feel very excited for the rest of the season.

Shout out to my boys Adam Jensen, Thomas Heaps, and Garek Beiklyahy (or something like that). Adam was in my heat of the mile and 800 and he beat me by a pretty good margin in both! Thomas was in an alright position in thelast lap of the mile but had a nice kick to pass a few people and end with a 4:47, but nobody could get even close to the kick of GAREK B!!!!!!! After already running a 4:28 he was running the 800, and he was in 9th place with one lap to go. He turned it to cruise control and passed 5 guys finishing in 4th place in the final heat! finishing in a 2:02! A FREAKING 2:02! Oh and we have just recieved breaking news.........Garek has in fact won the 2 mile in a time of 9:52, what can this kid not do! Garek you are my idol. Oh and shout out to Kaysha Love who won the 60 meter dash just for me, and to Lucy Biles who I beat her 800 pr today, ya thats right Lucy.
