Beautiful run this morning. The weather was perfect. 9 miles at 6:31 average pace while my dad biked. At the start my legs were a little stiff from the car ride but after a few miles they were fine and the run felt awesome. A little faster maybe than I should have but I dont run till friday. I just got talking about Paul Ryan and Austin Tamagno and the pace kept dropping. Were going to Knotts Berry Farm today, pumped.

I had a small speed workout today so me and my dad drove to the neighboring city Riverside, and went to the track at riverside community college. It was a pretty nice track. It reminded me of Mt. Sac cuz it had huge bleachers and palm trees around it. Warmed up 1.25 then did 5x300's @ goal mile pace (4:24) with 3 minutes rest in between each one. I hit 51.7 /49.5 /49.2 /48.5 /47.7 inbetween each one I jogged a 200 then waited the rest of the time. Then 3x100's all out with 1 minute rest inbetween. I got 13.66/ 13.34/ 13.30/ I did these on the back straight away of the track because the college athletes were doing stuff on the other side of the track. Well on the back straight there wasn't a solid line by where you start the 200 so I went from a solid line to the number 1 where you start the 200. After I was done I figured out where I should have gone from, so mine were actually like 90 meters. If that makes any sense. It wasn't a super hard workout but it loosened up my legs and felt good. After I finished up miles at 6:35 ap. I just have a little speed on thursday for pre meet, other than that I get to rest the rest of the week.

Drove into Redlands and ran passed the Redlands Temple, it's as lot smaller than any temple in Utah. Average pace was 6:54 and it was a good run. After I was wondering how many miles I had on my watch so I looked at it and I had 666.0 miles. Weird.

Drove over to Riverside Community College. Ran a mile warm up then did pre meet. In the 400's I got 69 and 71 then did a few strides. I felt really good and I'm ready to kill it the next two days. Drove back to the house and finished miles at 6:52 average pace. We're in the seeded race for the 4x800. We run at 4:57 pacific time, if you want to watch us, which you should, you can at arcadiainvitational.com Then I run in the Rated 1 race of the 2mile at 8:42. You should watch that too. It's gonna be sick, Thomas is in my heat, along with Stockton and Camren from Davis, and Kyle Rummens from Woods Cross. Then on Saturday at 5:56 I run in the seeded 1 mile race. This is funny because I have an 800 and 2mile before it, so I might be tired. And I'm seeded last. Woohoo. Haha so my goal might just be not get last. But it's gonna be fun cuz it's Arcadia and I'm getting a sick Nike backpack. K I gotta get some sleep, peace out blog

AM: 2.25 miles around the neighborhood to loosen up.

We arrived at Arcadia and got our bibs and stuff (they're sick) and hung out. Then we warmed up 2 miles and got ready. Thomas ran our lead off leg and got a 2:03, he gave it to Brady. I dont know what he ran but he did swell then he gave it to me and I dropped the baton. It was crazy, on the exchanges they put you in a line and you pretty much free for all-ed it so people were getting into people's way, people were running into each other. I'm not sure what happened, it was my fault tho. I got bumped when I got the baton and I dropped it. So I picked it up as fast as I could. For the first lap and a half I just ran behind some guys and paced off of them. At the 200 there was a string of 4 or 5 teams and I went to the outside and passed them all. I ran a 2:04 with the dropped baton, so a pr. Sean ran good and leaned a guy out at the end. We got 8:21, tying our old pr. But our old pr was on an oversized track, we had Dylan, and we didn't drop the baton. So i guess it was a good race.

We picked up our backpacks and stuff and then me and thom went to warm up for the Rated 1 of the 2mile. We did a mile warm up and then went and sat in the tent for a while. We went out to the track and they told us to hurry up cuz the race was gonna start immediately. But then they realized that they still had another girls race. That was good cuz then I had more time to get some strides and stuff. We started and I was feeling good. The race went good because I wasn't thinking about anything. I was just keeping up with the guys infront of me and if they moved up, working on closing the gap and stuff. So it went by kinda fast. First mile was 4:43-4:44. I ran the middle laps better than I ever have, my pace didn't fall off very much it felt like. Kick was really good, I passed at least 3 guys and almost caught Camren from Davis. That was the same at simplot. After I saw my official time on the scoreboard, I screamed I was so pumped. 11 second PR's dont come very often. Well except if yur the guy who won the race cuz he got a 25 second pr, ran a 9:11. Chump. I finished with a 9:27.17, Camren got 9:26.74, and Stokton Smith who got a 9:24.89, he was in second for most of the race and like 50 meters ahead of me, with my kick and him kind of dying at the end, I came within two and a half seconds off him.

1.5 mile cool down with Bill and Sarah after.

Shout out to Destiny Collins cuz she ran a 4:53 split in the 4xmile. Then she noticed who I was when I saw her, well she remembered that she follows me on twitter. Then when I was getting ready for the 2mile I asked her if she would date me and she said yes.

Shout out to Austin Tamagno cuz I saw him and told him that he kills it. He's running the ol 2 mile tonight, lets see if he can get sub 8:50!

Shout out to the meet of Arcadia cuz I got sick gear from it and its the fastest meet in the nation, so its pretty dope just watching it.

Running in the Seeded Mile tomorrow!!!!AAAAHHHH! Watch it online at arcadiainvitational.com! I run at 5:56

AM: 3 miles to loosen up. Feeling good!

PM: Warm up 1.5. I didn't even notice this until we were about to go, that we were running a true mile and not just a 1600, I thought was cool. First lap, or 407 meters whatever, was 67ish. There was this one kid who was way behind the entire time. If you take him out, I was in last most of the race. I was just cruising at the back of the pack. Middle laps were good. With 100 meters to go my legs started to feel like lead so I just looked up to the sky, grunted, and gave it everything I had. I ended up out leaning Taylor Dillan from WX. That made he happy cuz he ran a 4:22 at pine view, so not his greatest race but I'll take a win whenever I can. My last lap was a 62.something. I finished 9th out the 11 runners in the race, 4:25 for the full mile. Sarah! took 2 second off her mile time for the 1600 and i think i've heard that before so I'll do that. 4:23 for a 1600 which qualifies me for state. Good overall weekend racing with the fastest people in the nation. So grateful for the opportunity. Driving back to Utah tomorrow then I'll be back on the streets of Lehi. I miss lehi, i'm gonna miss the cali weather tho.

Shout out to Sean for running a 9:32 3200! Thomas running a 4:32 in the Rising Stars Mile! Paul Ryan for getting a wicked fast time in the 3200, 9:02! Really everybody, there were a ton of Nation Leading times and marks, and Arcadia records set this weekend.
