AM: 4 on Redwood

PM: Put on some hecka sunscreen lol and then 2.5 warm up to the groval. Workout up airport, 6x1minute uphill pushes. We started behind the opening and made it to almost the top. Distances were .19-.23-.19-.22-.19. Good workout. A lap around the groval and a little out them back to the high school.

During lunch played some good bball with Ryan and Mike. We played a game of 21 and I won by a large margin so shout out to me.

9 miles on the Alpine loop with the Lone Peak crew and also PG homies Tyler and Jared. At the start it was cold and rainy but then felt nice. Stopped at Arctic Circle and got courtesy cones. Got back and played 7 on the line and I had a decent third place performance. Then got cereal at jericksens and zericksens and it was delicious. Very fun day.

AM: 3.5 with strides

PM: Pickups today. 1.25 mile warm up but it was cold so I wasn't very warmed up. 5x2min on,1 min off,1 min on,1 min off towards Willow Park. I was running side ways with the wind so I was leaning over into the wind to keep it from blowing me over cuz it felt like 50mph. It felt like there was a little more of a headwind going out, and tailwind coming back. The weather got better later and I got more warmed up so I felt better at the end. For all the 1 min on I got .20, for the 2 mins I got .37, two 38's, .40, and .39. Finished   by Maverick, cooled down back to the high school.

Drove over to PG with Dallin, Parker and Jake. Did 2.25 miles and then walked around and sat around for a while. It got so cold so I didn't want to run. Found Tyler and went out to the track. Dallin and I did a little bit of mileage to warm back up and get pre meet done while the track wasn't being used. Then I finished up with Tyler. We went by PGJR and the elementary school, and then his house and he showed me where Teddy T lives in case I ever want to go toilet paper his house lol. Went back and watched the mile, shout out to those who ran it. Running the 800 tomorrow. Leeeeesssssssggooooooo

Utah County Invite 800. Got there later than I thought I would so I did my warm up around the turf and got 1.5 which isn't the worst but I would have got more. I'm not really an 800 runner but I wanted to go run hard and see what I could get and try to surprise people. I got out good and led the race thru 250 til I let Heston Andersen and Joe Benson pass me. Came thru right at 60. Got the jittery nervous feeling when you start getting close to the finish and you start picking it up and are waiting for someone to really start going. That was with 300 to go. 200 left Heston left Joe and Chris passed me. I knew wanted a medal cuz that would be really impressive for me in the 800. I tried to go after Joe and was giving everything but my legs tied up super bad lol and I finished in fourth which still made me happy. Chris won with a mid 1:57, Heston got 1:57.99 and Joe got 1:59.5. I negative split and finished with a time of 1:59.8! First time breaking 2 and it was awesome. Except for my throat burned the worst it ever has in my life. Super excited tho for the next time I run it.

Didn't really cool down. I didn't get going til after the meet ended cuz we watched the 4x4 and stuff. Did 2 miles around the track while the PG guys were cleaning up. Once they were done we had Tyler, Riley, Ali, me, Collin, Guppy, Asa, and Michael. We did Molly's and it was super sick. Got to 11 for the day. Then we went and got powerade at McDonald's and had french toast at my house.
