Slept in and then met Josh at the HS. We ran to the Temple but a way I've never done before. We went by Walmart, turned like we we're going to Chris Bailey's house and then turned right at the light and ran by the AF Cemetery. Tons of people were there and it was really cool. On the way back there was a guy walking around playing the bag pipes. Dropped down and ran passed AF up the hill to the temple and back. 9 at 7:07.

Got back and was stretching and chilling and then ol GMA (Brinn Jensen) and Papa Kev role up and are gonna do a workout. It was 2x200 all out (lol at sprint workouts) so we did it with them. I'm doing my first fast stuff since state tomorrow so it was good to get the legs moving.

2.5 mile warm up. Original plan was 5x1k repeats at goal pace (3:00) Hit 2:58, 3:00, 3:00, 2:58. After I got the 4th one down back to what I hit the first one, I didn't want to do the last k, I think I could have hit it but I have had to reach pretty deep into the tank which I don't really need to do and this is the first stuff I've done since state. I didn't want to be completely done so I switched the last one to a 600 and hit 1:45. Cooldown to the rodeo grounds 9.75 for the day.

At 5 we got a group and went and hiked squaw peak in rock canyon. It was 3.75 up and I power hiked it and it was a good workout but going back down hurt more. Awesome views, legs are really tired.

Just had time for 6 today. Forgot my watch so I ran to the light by AF Jr. high which is just over 3 out.

Little kid track meet at Timp. Saw Joe Benson and told him to come to the CBC and he said he would come even tho he'll have only ran for three days before it. While we are on the subject, the Connor Baller Classic track 5k at Lehi has been switched to the 9th. And we now have two heats. The Open section will go off at 9pm and the Seeded section will go off at 9:30pm. Entry fee $5 anybody is invited.

3.5 warm up to Airport and then 6x1 minute. Distances were .17-.17-.18-messed up the fourth one, .17-.18. Cool down to Janeen's house, I had a jolley rancher otter pop, and back to the high school. 10.75 on the day.

I'm so pissed off (excuse my language) I recruited a bunch of guys to run the CBC and I told them all June 10th. Then Jamie says that the school took forever to get back to her and it's being used the 10th. We book the track June 9th then and it's a guarantee that we'll have it then. So I go on Instagram and tell 1000 people it's June 9th. Well apparently there was a mix up in the schedule and the 9th is booked so they need us to do it the 10th! It's just a race but it's so annoying having to dm every person back and tell them sorry hope the 9th still works and now I have to post again and tell everyone it's the 10th and it's so freaking frustrating. So now it's the 10th and we are doing two heats, Open at 9 and Seeded at 9:30. But who knows, the school will probably tell us one day before that it was a mix up and we need to switch the date again.

Parked on Canterbury by the MCT. 5 out. Just a nice chill Saturday afternoon run. 6:58ap.

Watched track for over five hours lol. Was switching back and forth from GSW and the MCDC and then the California State Meet. Shout out to Julie Sumsion for taking second in the mile with a 5:10, Joe got second in the 3200. Isaac Cortes blew my mind winning the 1600 and 800. He had a 56 last lap and got 4:04. Then less than two hours later he ran against a fresh Connor Dunne in the 800. He was at the very back and then flew by everybody in the final 200 and won with a 1;50! Cooper Teare won the 3200 in a crazy race. He had a really good last lap but then this Great Oak guy, Cole Spencer comes flying up out of no where, they pull even, then Cole goes ahead by a little, Cooper responds and they came thru exactly alike and you couldn't tell who won. Well Cooper won in 8:51 by a couple thousandths of a second. It was insane. Destiny Collins got second in the 1600 and 3200 so shout out to her. I learned that Michael Norman isn't human. He ran 45.78 pulling up at the end saving for his 200, won in 20.5x i think. Then was the anchor of the 4x4. He  got it in fourth and made up 40 meters at least, it was insane. He went to the lead with 100 to go and gapped them, and even won by a decent margin splitting 44.9!
